'Cheun' - A New Film From Wisit Sasanatieng and Kongkiat Komesiri

Kongkiat Komesiri is one of the most respected genre filmmakers currently working in Thailand - his 'Art Of The Devil' series are viscerally destructive and absolutely mesmerising.
So anything to come out of his hands is going to be of interest - however add 'Tears Of The Black Tiger' helmer Wisit Sasasnatieng to the mix and the expectation levels shoot through the roof.
Focusing on the hunt for a serial killer who preys on the rich and influential, the film Cheun focuses on two characters police officer Papa Chin and imprisoned hitman Tai.
Judging by the trailer, it promises to be a garish and selazy visual fest with more than a nod to all the giallo's of yesteryear.
I, for one, can hardly wait!
