She works hard for the money: Crystal Harris 'Number One' Hef lover

Crystal Harris, 26 years old, is back in the loving clutches of Hugh Hefner, 86 years young.

Harris famously bolted from her previous marriage plans to Hugh Hefner just days before the planned ceremony last June.

The playmate used Twitter to announce the happy news: “Yes @hughhefner and I are back together...Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! Xo”

Apparently Hef's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel had some draw for Harris too.

“Happy to be back home at the Playboy Mansion with @hughhefner and our puppy Charlie,” she added. “I missed all the love and laughs.”

Hef Tweeted as well:  “Getting back together with Crystal Harris shouldn’t be a big surprise, since I have a history of remaining close to former girlfriends.

“It’s Mary O’Conner that brought Crystal Harris back. Crystal was miserable & said so,” he added, referencing Mary, his longtime assistant/secretary. “Mary told Crystal to write & tell me, which she did.”

Back last September, TMZ reported that the former Playboy model placed her 3.39 carat circular-cut diamond ring up for auction at Christie’s in New York in October 2011.

”[She] couldn’t bear to look at the ring anymore because it brought back bad memories,” a source claimed.

In July, Crystal opened up about her split with Hef when she stopped by Access Hollywood Live.

“I got cold feet,” she said at the time. “Over time I just realized it wasn’t for me, it was all happening so fast.”

Adding, “I love Hef. I care about Hef and always will. We had good times together… I’ve been over there about three or four times since the breakup and we want to just stay friends.”
