Chris Brown may have a Grammy, but his charm offensive is not working on female fans.

UsWeekly.com (via DListed.com)  reported the R&B star who famously put the hammer down on Rihanna in a rented Lamborghini on the 2009 Grammy awards' eve has allegedly busted out a peculiar pickup line.

Brown was convicted of felony assault for the Rihanna incident.

Allegedly Brown hit on a woman on Feb. 10 at the Lasio Professional Hair Care suite Grammy gift lounge and asked her, "Can I get your number? I promise I won't beat you!" according to the woman who told Us Weekly.

"He and his friends laughed, then one yelled, 'That's his new line!' Ugh! I wanted to throw up!"

The publicist who handles Brown said this: "I'd be surprised if Chris said something that stupid."
