It seems like no other celebrity could have withstood the fallout from the frantic media blitz waged by Charlie Sheen, allegedly in hopes to offset any negative perception from a poorly lit segment taped for ABC's 20/20.

His remarks are now elevated to a Chuck Norris-like legendary status, as "Winning" and possessing Tiger's Blood and Adonis DNA are now a great badge of honor in a humorous bent.
Even Jon Cryer and John Stamos have brushed off the unkind words that Sheen spoke, then manned up and apologized for.
“I was out of line and you’re a beautiful man, and a talented man, and if you get the gig, we should talk,” Sheen told KTLA News on Wednesday.
Stamos is not talking to tabloids or on-air press, and he kidded with Sheen on Twitter, “contrary to the rumors, i am not replacing charlie sheen on two and half men. however, martin sheen has asked me to be his son.”
Cryer is also laying low in the comment department, making hay of the situation in a new job where he reported on Thursday morning – as a receptionist for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
In a clip set to air on DeGeneres’ show on Thursday, and posted to her website already, Jon was filmed making some extra cash by manning the talk show host’s front desk.
And now, even Brooke Mueller, the latest ex wife who had Charlie's twin sons wrenched from his arms the other night? They have made peace without court dates too.
Charlie Sheen tweets:"not sure what all the legal noise is about... just verbally reached a deal with B. no court mon. yay...."
Sheen has had many high profile entertainers come to his defense, including Bill Maher and Piers Morgan.
