Sometimes the news just delights to no end, especially juicy wedding stories where elephants make a guest list and former BFF tabloid queens are given the slip.

Nicole Richie, once criticized unmercifully about her thin physique, had a big fat elephant come to her wedding, but one-time reigning tabloid chiefain Paris Hilton was omitted.
Hilton's former pal Richie had to leave off the aging socialite from her guest list. Paris is pushing 30, and vainly trying to recapture her glory days once again by staging auto mishaps around LA with rehabbing Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's latest marital roadkill.
Nicole and Paris starred in "The Simple Life" reality show, and were childhood pals at one time.
Nicole went and grew up, becoming a mother and a serious business owner, as Paris languished and tried her darndest to capture the old heat that once was Hilton Inc., using drugs and men as launch points for any headlines she could muster.
Even Hilton's old BFF Kim Kardashian, who became famous for her leaked Ray J sex tape, is raking in the cheddar and is reportedly the top earner reality star around these days, eclipsing Hilton in every endeavor.
