Eighties supermodel Paulina Porizkova sucked the air out of the room recently with her withering remarks about fellow models, and her general dour view on women over 40.

Undoubtedly most young women are head turners, but well maintained women over 40 today are a sight to see.
Living out in the LA 'burb of Calabasas, home of the Kardashians, Bob Eubanks and Britney Spears, this phenomenon is on full display. You just have to visit the local Ralphs in the Commons and behold the power of Bikram Yoga, Pilates, discreet implants, subtle fillers and good nutrition; it's astounding. Keeping one's appearance up is a competitive sport here!
There are more mini medical spas in Calabasas than actual doctor offices, or gas stations.
Well, Paulina put her Swedish Czech stink on the older ladies by saying that Brazilian ninth wonder of the world, the first lady of the New England patriots, Gisele Bundchen is “already a goner” on the fashion front since birthing baby Benjamin.
“She had a baby and she’s not that into it anymore,” Paulina dished to the New York Post. “She’s not out there pounding the pavement anymore.”
Porizkova, 45, added, “Nothing ages as poorly as a beautiful woman’s ego...When you have used your beauty to get around, it’s like having extra cash in your pocket. I was so used to walking down the street and having the young guys passing by at least give me a flicker of a look. But once you’re over 40, you become invisible. You’re a brick in the building and it’s sad. It just feels like the sun went down a little bit. It got a little cloudy outside.”
The wife of Cars' lead singer Ric Ocasek says Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks and Janice Dickinson are toast too. “She (Janice Dickinson)was one of the most beautiful girls you’ve ever seen in your whole life,” said Porizkova. “Now she looks like a transvestite.”
