Paul the psychic octopus has an excellent track record and bookies everywhere are watching the Cephalopod put his tentacles where the safe bets should be placed.
Paul lives in an aquarium in western Germany. His stock went up after he correctly predicted all six of Germany's World Cup games. So far the psychic octopus has not made any mistakes when predicting the outcome of a football match for two years.
Football fans in Spain were rejoicing Friday after Paul predicted Spain will win the World Cup. Paul also predicts Germany will beat Uruguay in the match for third place.
Since correctly predicting Spain's victory over Jorgi "Booger recon" Löw's team - Paul is now on the outs with Germany's fans.
Spain however is loving the 'pus. President Zapatero said: "I am concerned for the octopus. I am thinking of sending him a protective team."
