Irish born Convicted felon Michael Lohan, who seems to have Radaroline on speed dial, and his ex Dina Lohan, who parlays her daughter's fame into failed business ventures and abuses a Carvel Ice cream cards for life (to the point of it being revoked), are the parental role models for Lindsay Lohan.

Michael Lohan was in the big house for three years after being convicted of insider trading.
Lindsay will report to jail on July 20 for 90 days. If she is good, most likely she will serve just 23 days of the sentence. Lohan's latest lawyer may have quit on her, but her dad, engaged to a tabloid writer who was involved with Jon Gosselin, makes sure he is always popping up on the right celebrity websites. He is speaking again to Us Weekly and is telling everyone what was good for his goose is good for his daughter the gander:
"It's not going to be a good experience for her. Right now, she should be working on rectifying the situation and getting better," Michael, who tells everyone with a microphone that Lindsay has prescription drug issues.
Considering it was revealed Lohan, age 23, has a prescription for Dilaudid (for alleged dental pain), a drug so powerful they give it to cancer patients for pain, we see his point.
"It's just a horrible experience. Twenty-three hours a day, she'll be locked up," added Michael, who gave the sound bit to Us. "I'm going to get her out of that cell as much as I can. And Kate will be there, and we'll work to get her out of that cell as much as possible."
Michael says Lindsay, 24, is currently refusing to speak to him "because she knows I still want to throw her in [rehab]. I've been trying to tell her how much I love her, that I'm behind her, that when she's ready, I'm ready to help her."
Continues Michael, "If she would just realize that what she's taking is toxic.... Dina has denied that Lindsay is on prescription meds. Lindsay has denied that she is on prescription meds. Her friends have. Everyone has! And look at her! They're lying."
Michael has a few words for his ex wife, too: "Dina should be concentrating on helping Lindsay get off of the prescription drugs instead of stealing Fudgy the Whales from Carvel!"
"I had a feeling that Lindsay might go to jail and I wanted to be there for her, but I wanted to be there, more importantly, to submit the letter to the judge in hopes that she would just give her rehab, which she did consider and I appreciate that," he tells Us. "But at the same time, Lindsay is not a criminal. She is a woman with a disease. She really is. She needs help. She needs medical attention."
