It's hard to feel sorry for a famous billionaire who owns a big production company, has enough dough to fund a myriad of film projects including his very own private old-school invitation-only Catholic church.

But Mel Gibson has managed to misstep continuously ever since Officer Mees of the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station pulled Mel over on the PCH, and busted the actor for DUI. The arrest itself would have been enough for most to hang their head in shame and ring up Dr. Drew, but not Mel.
Talk therapy is for pussies.
Mel's alleged rant that invoked "the Jews" and called one female office "sugartits" went down in the annals of most tabloid newsworthy celebrity story ever, until Britney shaved her head and Lindsay Lohan cried in court while flashing an "F-U" via a manicure.
Now, after Mel has left his wife and seven children for a woman who had an out-of-wedlock child with another actor, the actor is facing some serious charges he must answer for.
Gibson is facing possible domestic violence incident involving his eight child's mother, Oksana Grigorieva, earlier this year, sheriff's officials said Thursday.
According to a Sheriff's department news release, Gibson is a person of interest in the alleged attack on Grigorieva at an undisclosed location in Malibu.
The two lovers broke off in May, and it's been a downhill slide since. The two have argued publicly in a nasty custody dispute over their infant daughter. Reports claim Oksana was hit in the face and lost some teeth.
The incident is being investigated by the same sheriff's substation (Lost Hills) that handled Gibson's 2006 infamous alleged Jew-baiting arrest.
Last week, audio tapes of Gibson screaming obscenities at Grigorieva were made public, according to Radaronline and TMZ.com.
The tapes have been submitted to the judge in their custody battle and are under seal, according to TMZ.
Both celebrity websites previously leaked some of the saltier insults hurled allegedly by Mel: "You look like a f*king pig in heat and if you get raped by a pack of ni**ers it will be your fault."
Oksana is referred to as a "whore" and a "C**t."
