More reasons to adore Betty White; the legendary smallscreen actress will be accorded an homage offered select notables, a hot dog in her name, to be unveiled at Universal CityWalk on Monday, April 19, when Ms. White helps open the first Pink’s ever in the San Fernando Valley.

For those not native to SoCal, Pink's is a famous Hot Dog stand in West LA that has served as backdrop to a million TV shows and movies, and is a great place to spot celebs looking for a late-night snack.
Esteemed actress Ms. White (“Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “The Golden Girls,” “The Proposal”) likes her hot dogs naked!—as in a delicious Pink’s hot dog in a bun…with no toppings, no enhancements.
The “Betty ‘Naked in the City’ Hot Dog” will be front and center Monday, April 19, at the 10:00 a.m. “Grand Opening” which will benefit LA Animal Service’s East and West Valley Animal Shelters www.laanimalservices.com/index.htm.
Pink’s, which first opened at its original location on La Brea Avenue in Hollywood 70 years ago, continues to be a Southern California staple and popular hotdog emporium.
Ms. White has won six Emmy Awards and been nominated 18 times. Of late, the venerable actress has been featured in films, most recently opposite Sandra Bullock in “The Proposal.” At 88 years-old, White is one of our national treasures.
