It was clearly evident before the bust up of Jesse James and Sandra Bullock's marriage that Sandra had closely bonded as a step-mother to Jesse's children from previous relationships.

Especially the youngest, Sunny, the flaxen-haired daughter of Porn actress Janine Lindemulder, a tattooed vision herself, and James. Bullock quietly helped James in his ongoing custody battle with Lindemulder who was away doing time in prison.
Even sadder perhaps is the woman who seemingly stalked and conquered James, Michelle McGee, has two children of her own also involved in a contentious custody fight with her ex.
It was revealed by TMZ that McGee, "Bombshell" to some, strips in a San Diego club under her son's name: Avery.
TMZ reported Monday that Lindemulder has a ray of light with this unfortunate and lurid scandal, and is now going to court demanding custody of their child, thanks to James' indiscretions.
The site says Lindemulder has filed legal papers in their custody case involving 6-year-old daughter, Sunny. Currently Jesse has full custody of Sunny. Lindemulder lives in a halfway house, after serving a prison sentence for tax evasion.
But Lindemulder is betting the farm that Bullock will divorce Jesse over the allegations of his affair with stripper/tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee. The wild card is what Sandra Bullock will do, which will greatly impact Lindemulder's case. If Bullock reconciles with James it will make his home a more appealing place in the eyes of the court.
In the meantime, Bullock is quiet and there is no word yet of how the couple will handle the scandal.
Michelle McGee's ex Ronald Shane Modica is also revealing a great deal of insight into the mind of a woman who left Amish country as a seemingly normal fresh faced blond, who became an exhibitionist Nazi dominatrix stripper with white power symbolism inked on her flesh.
Modica filed emergency court papers last Friday for full custody of Avery, his 5-year-old son with McGee says that his wife was obsessed with James to the point of distraction.
Modica tells The Insider: "We had problems during our marriage because of her obsession with Jesse James...I once walked into the salon that she owned and she had our wedding photo up there on her mirror and there was a cut out picture of Jesse James' face over my face."
Modica's interview airs Monday and Tuesday night on The Insider.
"According to Michelle, [Sandra and Jesse] had this big thing going on where they were going to announce their divorce on a certain timeline and she was going to be the next woman," Modica says.
According to US magazine, the judge denied Modica's emergency request for custody of Avery, but the couple are scheduled to meet in court on May 12 to revise the terms of custody and visitation.
