Kirstie Alley off the rails, according to Twitter analysts

Alley, 59, uses Twitter non-stop and some of her postings have alerted the National Enquirer, which claims Scientologist Alley is headed to meltdown land.

Bedeviled by weight issues, actress Kirstie Alley is sharing her dieting and workout ordeal and communicating via Twitter to her fans, and the odd posts captured on Twitter has media outlets speculating on the future of Phitter, Alley's weight loss website as well as a possible TV show she is trying to get off the ground.

Alley, 59, uses Twitter non-stop and some of her postings have alerted the National Enquirer, which claims Scientologist Alley is headed to meltdown land.

"Kirstie is a babbling mess," a source shared with the Enquirer. "Her bizarre rants are obviously a desperate cry for help. She's mad that she has to limit her food intake, exercise and say no to sweets, so she's lashing out in outrageous ways."

"She's trying to be edgy and funny, but Kirstie's so-called jokes make her seem like she's completely losing her grip on reality," continued the insider. "...she's buckling under pressure. She's swearing she'll lose 70 pounds by June 15, but that's an unrealistic goal.

The Enquirer alleges in their report that Kirstie blew it bigtime at a "decadent" calorific dinner celebrated on Jan. 12 birthday at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, where the Enquirer reports Kirstie ate "dumplings and chocolate cake."

A&E network has invested in Alley for a new reality show scheduled to air in March.

The source who spoke anonymously to the Enquirer claims that the diet plan Alley has been touting is bunk and the fear is now it will be exposed as such, and Alley's TV show is based on a fraudulent premise.
