Black Sabbath Best UK Rock Album Ever?

Black Sabbath has come out number one in a poll to decide the best British rock album ever.

Readers of metal magazine Kerrang! voted on the list and chose Black Sabbath’s self titled album as the best.

The band beat off competition from Iron Maiden, The Sex Pistols and The clash to take the top spot, also picking up fifth place for their other album, Paranoid.

Sabbath featured Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass and Bill Ward playing drums. They released the Black Sabbath album in 1970.

Other Members led the band from also features twice with solo albums.
