“Hey, Hey, Hey I’m far from finished…” – Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby released a video message promoting his upcoming comedy tour dates that aired exclusively on ABC News’ Good Morning America on Monday morning.
The comedian insists he is “far from finished” as the number of women accusing him of sexually assaulting and drugging them has continued to grow.
The video reveals Cosby on the phone and wearing a matching burgundy button-down shirt and pants while he promotes his upcoming comedy shows.
Cosby says, “You know I’ll be hilarious. Can’t wait.”
In that note, he says, “Dear Fans: I hope you enjoy my wonderful video message that’s filled with laughter.”
The Cosby Show ran for eight seasons and was #1 in the Nielson ratings for five consecutive years, causing a rating resurgence for NBC network, ending in 1992. The show’s portrayal of an upper middle-class African American family changed the way the world viewed middle class black culture. Whoopi Goldberg has stood by Cosby, defending the need to reserve judgment and raise questions about the accusations, and “Broad City” star and comedian Hannibal Buress has taken the rapist allegations as fodder for his standup act.
