Be Good To People for back to school fashion, made in U.S.A.

Fashionistas heading back to school have a worthy line of amazing consumer goods and clothing they can investigate.

Purchasing anything from this clever American small business, supports a host of GOOD causes and people doing them.

Acquaint yourself with Be Good To People, a company that is spreading the good – one t-shirt at a time.

Simplicity rules for Be Good To People – a brand new apparel company completely black-and-white with the simple phrase ‘Be Good to People.’
From adorable thermals to t-shirts, hats and accessories, the idea is simple – spreading the word, one kind act at a time.

Sizes range from infant & kids to men’s and women’s. www.begoodtopeople.come

The backstory on this American company was inspired by a rude experience that founder Kris Wittenberg had back in the spring of 2008 while running errands at lunch.

The exact bad experience has long been forgotten but the idea that people need to be better to one another has not.

Once back in the office of her promotional products company, SayNoMore! Promotions, she asked, “Why can’t people just be good to people?”

Kris researched to see if the phrase was trademarked and if the web address was taken. She scored!  Kris secured both the name and the web address and Be Good to People, the brand and voila, the movement, was born.

Company Ethos, Being Good to People is:

It’s performing simple acts of kindness, and recognizing others for their “Good.”
It’s a renewed feeling of hope, relief from today’s negative news.
It’s joy in simple things. Returning to basic, core values.
It’s communicating a shared belief, like-minded people spreading a positive message.
It’s a movement. Changing the world, one person, one kind act at a time.

My personal favorite items are the simple v neck black T-Shirt and the acrylic smoothie cup, I take to go and reuse consistently.  It’s brilliant and reduces the plastic trash mass that is choking us all, by land and the oceans.
