Kristen Aldridge Hosts AXS TV’s ‘Countdown’ and Live Broadcasts Along with Field Reporter Savannah Buffett
AXS TV, the country’s premier destination for unprecedented live music festival coverage, is returning as the official broadcaster of the 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell for the second consecutive year along with StubHub as the official broadcast partner.
AXS TV will air more than 24 hours of coverage from Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4.
Headlining artists already confirmed are Phish, Christina Aguilera, Santana, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The String Cheese Incident, John Fogerty, The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Boz Scaggs and John Hiatt. Viewers can tune in early for AXS TV’s 2014 wall-to-wall coverage as each day kicks off with a half-hour pre-festival special, “Countdown to Jazz Fest,” hosted by entertainment expert Kristen Aldridge. Aldridge will showcase the unparalleled and unique atmosphere of the Festival, and capture the flavor of this world-renowned event. Joining her for AXS TV’s live coverage is TV personality Savannah Buffett, who will highlight the nightlife outside of the Jazz Fest grounds and interview artists, as she provides a bird’s eye of the Festival’s rich and eclectic environment.
Each ‘Countdown’ show will air daily from 3pE to 3:30pE, followed immediately by live Festival coverage until 11pE.
AXS TV’s coverage will deliver the ultimate front row interactive experience for viewers tuned into the broadcast.
