I LOVE WICKED! i have seen it twice! idina and kristin are two very inspiring actresses! i hope to be seeing more of them! wicked has touched me on so many different levels...somehow i feel that the story line of the musical is the story line of my life! i love it! wicked is amazing!
i live in california so i couldnt get t new york to see it. but that dosnt meen i have to forget about it. ever since i first her the wicked sound track i was hooked. i know every song, every lyric, every character, and every voice. i go on google to find out more about idena menzel every day. And I already have tickets to the showing of wicked at the pantages theater. though i still think that idena and kristen are the very best.
Idena Menzel is a very inspiriing actor, I agree. But omg, the chicago cast is sosososososoos AMAZING!!!!! I lvove the NY cast but chicago is just more, wicked. I jsut saw it. SO OS OSOSOSOSSOSSO GOOD! notto menton wicked was one of my favorite books b4 broadway!
omg u cant say that chicago cast is better than ny cast! no way! idina menzel is INCREDIBLE!!! just listen to the cd and u will never (hopefully) dismiss her like that again!
I was able to see Wicked in NY. Not only was my first trip to NY incredible but seeing Wicked just added to my excitement. I'm anxious to see it in St. Louis in December, 2005 just for comparison. Thanks for the rush!!
i luv and kristin cheneworth is my idle wicked is an awsome show that noone will not like besides lexi narad who doenst even like the songs shes a lier.
The Chicago cast of Wicked can match New York's anytime. Who knew Ana Gasteyer had that voice! The sets were fantastic, the orchestra was awesome. Not only is this a wonderful musical but it is also very funny. Some of the best lines I've ever heard in the theater came from Ana Gasteyer as only she can deliver them. My daughter and I had a great time and will go back again.
I was very very fortunate to see Wicked in NY. I already knew it was probably going to be good because The Wizard of Oz was fantastic family film, but Wicked just blew my mind. I would definately see it again. It's a 'must see' play.
Idina Menzel rocks, but I'm going to have to say Stephanie J. Block (touring production) is the best Elphie EVER. Her voice just fills you up inside and sends you flying like nothing I've ever heard before.
I just saw Wicked For the First Time!!!!
I just saw the Chicago production with Ana Gasteyer and all I can say is 'WOW!' Having listened to the cast recording MANY times, I was a bit apprehensive that I would be disappointed simply because it wasn't Idina and Christine. That flew out the window as soon as Ana launched into 'The Wizard and I.' Who would've thought that she had such an amazing, powerful voice?? Everything about the show was positively first-rate. I had goose bumps the entire time... and Defying Gravity? AMAZING!! I knew all about the staging of that one before I saw the show, but was still awestruck at Ana's vocal prowess paired with the elaborate staging. I can't wait to see it again! (and again, and again, and again...)

Ok i haven't seen this musical but i am completely obsessed with the books and the music. I refer anything and anything to wicked. You would think that the people in my class had a script they refer to wicked so unknowingly. Oh my gosh I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It is a lot like my life in different ways so I love it!
To daystar searcher. ARE YOU INSANE?? Idina Menzel dominaaaates all. She's got a powerhouse of a voice. Man, she makes me jealous.
I went to see Wicked last night at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta,Ga and it was MORE than I ever imagined it to be. When speaking to others, no one was really aware of what I was talking about. I was entertained throughout the entirity of the musical and never once felt an ounce of boredom. It was terrific and I cannot wait to see it again in another city. Many travel from Florida, Kentucky, and Texas to witness this creature we call Wicked. And she was sure a site to see.The singing and the choreography were stellar as were the costumes. The make up and hair was on point and not one single thing was out of sync.
TOTALLY WICKED.
well... first of all I just gotta say that the blond haired fiyero (cause there are two of them) is way hot! Especially when Idina and Norbert Leo Butz (Fiyero) look perfect for eachother. Kristin and Idina are such good singers!!! Look, I haven't seen it in NY or Chicago but, soon. This will be my second time seeing it. I have the script to WICKED, the CD, the Lyrics, notes for the piano of every song, posters, shirts. Gosh, if you are saying that you are the number one fan of WICKED... think again. NORBERT LOVES ME and I know it.
I have to agree with all the Ana lovers out there...Her vocal placement is nearly flawless. Who knew??! She is by far the best one yet!
