Alfred Molina and Annette Bening Star In The Cherry Orchard

Los AngelesThe Cherry OrchardStarring will be Alfred Molina as Lopakhin and Annette Bening as Madame Ranyevskaya. Sean Mathias will direct the production which will play a limited run through March 29th.Molina began his stage career in 1998 opposite Alan Alda and Victor Garber in Art. He was nominated for a Tony last year for his work as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. Benning while most known for her film work has appeared on stage in Hedda Gabler and Talking Heads.In The Cherry Orchard, Madame Ranyevskaya, is the head of a once wealthy and honored Russian family about to lose their ancestral estate, including a vast and beautiful cherry orchard. As spring gives way to summer and sentiment threatens reason, the family must find their footing in a Russia turned upside down.
