The Odd Couple Racks Up Ticket Sales

New YorkThe Odd CoupleAt this pace the show could potentially sell out before the first preview is performed on October 4th.Lane would play the slob Oscar Madison and Broderick would play uptight Felix Unger, but it has been reported that the two would swap roles at some performances. The show will begin previews on October 4th and open on October 27th.Also in the cast are Brad Garrett, Lee Wilkof, Rob Bartlett, Olivia d'Abo, and Jessica Stone.The original production of the play opened on Broadway in March 1965 starring Art Carney and Walter Matthau. The production won four Tony Awards.
