Tarzan The Musical

New YorkTarzan The MusicalThe Lion KingBeauty and The BeastA casting notice reveals that the production is looking to head to Broadway in the 2005-2006 season. Casting sessions will be held May 24th, 25th, and 28th at Chelsea Studio in New York seeking to cast for Tarzan, Jane, Kala, Kerchak, Clayton, Terk, Porter, and a child Tarzan.The musical, based on the 1999 film, will feature direction and designs by Bob Crowley, book by Henry Hwang, choreography by Meryl Tankard and associate direction by Jeff Lee. Phil Collins, who wrote the score for the film, has written several additional songs for the musical.
