Caroline, Or Change To Close

Caroline, or Change is the story of an African-American woman working as a maid for a Jewish family as the Civil Rights-movement is about to explode.
The producers issued this statement today: "We are all so proud to have been a part of this wonderful production of Caroline, Or Change. We want to congratulate Tony Kushner, Jeanine Tesori, George C. Wolfe, and the entire cast who have worked so hard to bring this unique musical to Broadway. Caroline, Or Change broke new ground in the American musical theatre, and this amazing musical will be seen by many more theatre-goers across the world in the years to come."
Tonya Pinkins (Caroline) was nominated for a Tony and Anika Noni Rose (Emmie) won the award.
