The production will be directed by Jonathan Kent.
Fiennes will play Frank Hardy, the Irish healer, and possible con artist. McDiarmid will play the shabby Cockney impresario Teddy, Frank's manager. The role of Frank's wife Grace has yet to be cast.
Faith Healer premiered at Broadway's Longacre Theater in 1979 where it played for 20 performances.
