Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick reunite onstage this fall |
The Tony Winners who starred together in The Producers will take the stage again beginning October 4th and open sometime in late October.
Lane would play the slob Oscar Madison and Broderick would play uptight Felix Unger, but it has been reported that the two would swap roles at some performances.
The original production of the play opened on Broadway in March 1965 starring Art Carney and Walter Matthau. The production won four Tony Awards.
The run is expected to be limited and I am sure tickets will be hard to come by, so we'll keep you posted as to ticket sale dates.
