Wonderful Town Closes Today

Wonderful Town has music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and a book by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov, based on the stories by Ruth McKenna.
Shields joined the cast on September 28th, replacing original headliner Donna Murphy who was nominated for a Tony for her work.
The show received five Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Musical. Director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall received the Tony Award for Best Choreography.
