Kim Cattrall Does Well on London Stage
By James Wray Jan 28, 2005, 9:57 GMT
Kim Cattrall has received a warm if guarded welcome from critics in London over her new role in the Brian Clark play "Whose Life is it Anyway?"
The actress most famous for her role as the sexually charged Samantha in Sex and the City plays intelligent, sexy and talented, sculptor Claire Harrison who is used to being in control of her life. A serious road accident forces her to contemplate a future in which she will remain constantly dependent on those around her. Left with only the use of her sharp mind, wit and indomitable spirit.
Most critics seems to have welcomed her performance with the Guardian calling it a "tremendous performance," the Evening Standard saying it had "haunting glory" and The Independent’s critic saying it was "attractive and moving."
So it seems the actress has made a successful transition from the small screen to stage.
"Whose Life Is It Anyway?" debuted this week; further information on the theatre's Web site.
