Most people see a Broadway show and never really remember the name of the lead/s unless they are famous. Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth & Hugh Jackman changed that completely around. They gave us the best year of Broadway in my lifetime, we will never forget their work in 'Wicked' and 'The Boy From Oz' and we will follow their careers forever. Bless them all. We will miss them in these roles they gave life and breath to, and await their future accomplishments. :-) Way to go guys!
I was there when Idina came out on stage...It was a really beautiful moment. She was just gleaming with pride and all the castmembers were teary. Joey McIntyre said, sh*t! Sorry Kids, uhh... this has been a great year, thanks! Idina Menzel is a great actress, and I was so lucky to have been there to see her in her last moment on the Wicked Stage.

I was lucky enough to see Idina at her last full performance (the friday night before the accident)I look up to her, and she has influenced me to believe in myself, especially because I would like to be on Broadway when I am older! Feel Better Idina! I wish you the best!
When i had heard about Idina's accident, it was through my friend at school who had heard it on the radio that morning, at first i didn't believe her, but then i snuck onto the computers in the library and found out it was true! I was so scared for her! She is my idol/hero for life!!! She is the best actress ever to walk the planet, she has so much passion and so much energy, she is my role model for i hope to one day be on Broadway. It has been my dream since i was 3. And i will do everything i can to get there. And i won't stop until i am.

when i heard about the accident i felt so uset bacause i was suppost to see u soon and i think that you are the only person who could do the role. you make the story come alive . the story is not the same with out you. you are the best.

Idina is such an amazing woman, definately someone I look up to. I'm thrilled that she had the courage to go up in front of all those people to finish a show the way she did. She will always be one of my role models.

i haven't seen Idina on Broadway but she played Maureen in the movie RENT and she was AWESOME!! and i've always loved Wicked but i had no clue it was the same person in RENT, and when i found out i was shocked!!! and then i got the soundtrack to both RENT and Wicked and compared them and i was just like 'yea, there is a BIG similarity there!' i love her and her voice! <333

Unfortunately I am from the UK and never got to see the broadway show and Idinas farewell.I have however since seen the Londno West End show but it is so unfortunate that I won't get to see the farewell of Idina in January.She is an amazing actress,a complete icon and has such an amazing voice. It is the best London broadway play I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of them and I actually remember the names of the cast memebers and all the songs. I loved wicked so much and would really love to see it again but it probably wouldn't be the same withut idina.Idina your an icon sweetheart.A true inspiration.Love Steph x

i have just seen wicked in the west end and idina menzel is the wicked witch! she did at one point start to laugh and couldnt control herself but she is still the best thing that has happened to the west end! I'M IN LOVE WITH A GREEN WOMAN!!
Well.. i saw Idina on stage and i must say, in theatrical business she is my idol. she has such power in her voice when she sings. i go shivery. i have performed in places such as the Royal Albert hall and soon to be the london paladium and im only 15 years old. I would die to have a voice like Idina. she rocks and she totally owns the stage when she is singing
I went to see the London peformance of Wicked and it was amazing! Idina you rocked, i only wish i could watch you again in it! After the show it was all i could think about and days later it is still all i can think about! I've watched loads of musicals and this was the best one ever!! Idina you are an inspiration to me! I love being a dancer and now my dream of being a west end dancer seems more and more real! i have danced at places like The Royal Albert Hall and Her Majestys Theatre but i would love to be in a real west end musical! Idina you have inspired me to go through with my dream! Thank you so much!!!

OMG I absolutely love you! I listen to the Wicked soundtrack everyday and I've seen Rent like a bazillion times!! Is Wicked going to be made into a movie like Rent did? You know how psyched I would be if Wicked came to DVD?? OMG! Idina you are amazing and you have an outstanding voice! Love ya!

Oh wow. I know it was a long time ago, but I don't care. I've wanted to see Wicked since it came out in 2004; and now, 2007, I finally have tickets. But when I found out Idina wasn't going to be Elphaba, I was honestly crushed. I mean, sure, Ana (The person who's being Elphaba on tour) is most likely to be good, no great, but... I mean... Idina was made for that part. She basicly owns that part, it's hers. Once she gets better, I hear she's going to go back to London and play Elphaba there, so... =< No, no Idina here. But if she ever comes back, I plan on going to see her, at least once in my life. My friend and I have l already decided, that we're going to try out for Elphaba and Galinda when we get older. We really are dedicated to trying for it. Considering we both got the parts in Wicked for school... We think we might have a shot at it. Anyways... we loved you in Wicked, and I wish you were going to be doing it on tour... anyways... I hope you get better... we love you!

Idina is my favorite actress/female singer/role model. She has inspired me in so many ways. I am a singer/actress too, and by listening to her over and over on the Rent and Wicked soundtracks my voice has improved 110%. It is my dream to make it to Broadway, and when I watch her or hear her sing, that dream seems so realistic. She is my true inspiration. When I heard that she was injured, I was so upset for her. What a terrible injury to have. What I love is that she was able to get well and return to the stage. Way to go Idina! I will always be one of your biggest fans!!

I love Idina like crazy. She is so exceptionally talented and I just canNOT get enough of her!! If I hear one song she sings, I have to replay it twenty times!! I can't believe she got hurt though. I never knew. Will she be performing later on when she recovers??

Wow. I didnt know that. I was planning to see the show just because she was in it. Is she seriously never going to be in another again? Well, we love you Idina!!
i have seen wicked 3 times, idina twice last year and once with kerry ellis. idina is a hard one to beat but kerry is actually a really great follow-up, so don't think that in any way it will be a let down! in actually a lot of ways she is very similar to idina, and she is also very powerful and beautiful.
on another note, july is when glinda changes from helen dallimore to a new singer. helen is beautiful and a very good actress but her singing is at times 'cringifying'. especially if you have heard the original broadway recording with kristin chenoweth... an amazing glinda. hopefully the new one in july is better... i'm not going back until then!
Wish she could have kept her role as Elphaba....she has the most amazing voice I have ever heard. Wish her the best and thank her for all she has done.

Ive only just learned about wicked, and have been listen to the soundtrack for months only to find out the one and only, true voice of the witch is no long part of the show. Idina, are are the only one true voice of Wicked's Elfie. I hope one day you join the cast again so I can see you sing..

I just want to say that WICKED is the best musical ever and I love it to death! I read the book, which was Awesome and bought the CD soon after. After hearing Idina Menzel's and Kristin Chenoweth's voices, I KNEW that I had to see the musical! I saw Wicked at the Pantages Theater on May 10, 2007.Wicked surpassed my expectations and I fell in love with the characters all over again. I am saddened that I will not be able to go to Broadway and
see Ms. Menzel perform. I wish everyone the best and I hope to one day be
performing among the stars on Broadway!!!
