SpiritHoods and The Mountain host WILD event at DTLA Art Walk - April 11

SpiritHoods hosts WILD at Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk, merging art, music and fashion to benefit wildlife conservation.

If you are in Los Angeles, this coming April 11 will see LA Downtown Art Walk. It's the first hosted event by SpiritHoods, and they are collaborating with popular American t-shirt company The Mountain for special edition tees to celebrate.

WILD, a multi-media gallery experience hosted by SpiritHoods, is showcasing an extensive collection of endangered animal portraits by Vishvakarma.

Host SpiritHoods hopes to raise awareness and resources that benefit the endangered animals of SpiritHoods supported nonprofits. Vishvakarma will be selling his beautiful oil and water color paintings and prints, as well as doing a live painting at the gallery. Merchandise will be on sale from SpiritHoods, as well as a special, SpiritAnimal t-shirts by The Mountain. In addition, there will be live music, special guest performances (TBA) and a photo booth.

100% of all net profits from SpiritHoods sales will go toward the SpiritHoods' supported nonprofits, such as Panda International, Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust, Predator Defense, Panthera and Polar Bears International. 50 % of net profits from art sales and The Mountain merchandise will also be donated.

Vishvakarma, aka Dave Zaboski, worked on contemporary classics, such as Beauty and the Beast and Lion King when working as a senior director at Disney, as well as at Sony and Warner Bros.

He's a classically trained painter, co-creating several national children's books and creating concept art for film and game projects. He also teaches creativity and innovation as a public speaker. In 2009, he met an enlightened master from India who invited him to his homeland to further his studies of energy and art. That spiritual teacher gave him the name Vishvakarma - Architect of the Universe.

SpiritHoods are the original faux fur animal inspired hood, made in Los Angeles. Spirithoods has expanded their efforts this year to help wildlife, and are donating 10% of net profits from all hoods purchased directly to the conservation of endangered species.
