One of the stars of FX's "Sons of Anarchy," Michael Marisi Ornstein (Chucky) is also a multimedia artist. His latest exhibition will debut October 8 in Los Angeles.

The Congregation Gallery promotes an edgier artistic format, but owner Cody Varona saw something stylistically avant-garde yet emotionally universal in Ornstein's works of art.
Ornstein is an east coast transplant from NYC by way of Cape Cod with a flair for serving up raw emotion through hand-mixed colors on canvas, metal, plastic, paper, wood and anything else he can find to paint on.
He also exudes his artistry through acting, currently as the disturbingly loveable character Chucky on FX's smash series “Sons of Anarchy.” Combining his palpable talent for creativity and his longtime visionary interest in working with cutting edge media, Ornstein's “Hand Painted Radio: An Interactive Art Show” will pioneer the direction of how art is presented and communicated. Sara Lou of Preachers and Fools Tattoo Studio located in Forgotten Saints will be on hand to serve up several of Ornstein’s original tattoo designs at the opening reception.

Ornstein developed and performed close to 30 years worth of new plays in NYC and across the nation, including the premiere of “Angels in America." Film and television work includes Robert Altman's "Kansas City"; Hal Hartley's "Book of Life"; "Crossing Delancey"; "Seinfeld"; "NCIS, L.A."; "Law and Order"; "Special Victim's Unit"; "Criminal Intent"; "New York Undercover" and "Third Watch". Independently, Michael made a film in 1996, called “Time Away”, which was one of, if not the first features shot on Digital Video. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
