Petra Gallerie 'Draw Bitch' celebrates 3D art, tattoos and spontaneous art on August 27

Now Petra Gallerie owner John P. Felix (L), artistic director Snakebite Cortez and tattoo ink artist Sameerah (R) invite Los Angeles area art lovers to come and celebrate their love of body art.

The Petra Gallerie in Los Angeles is hosting a special "Draw Bitch" gathering celebrating body art on August 27, 2011.

Draw Bitch is Petra Gallerie / SORO Social Club's live expression of art and creativity. From seasoned pros to people coming in off the street, spontaneous art happens with live and mixed music.

The Gallerie always has an eclectic open invitation on the last Saturday of every month to get people out of their houses and away from their computers and smartphones, as Petra features a social perspective and appreciation for various art forms and good food and drink.

Previously the Petra Gallerie celebrated the photographs of David Alley that featured Hollywood Geisha glamour models, styled by Emmy award-winning artist Melanie Mills, who painstaking hand-glitterized the Geisha models' tattoo ink.

Along with Mills' art installation was the exhibit, "Thirteenth Mask" where artists from all over took simple grey plain masks and embellished them, creating a mythology behind their artistic rendering.

Now Petra Gallerie owner John P. Felix, artistic director Snakebite Cortez and tattoo ink artist Sameerah invite Los Angeles area art lovers to come and celebrate their love of body art.

Snakebite gave Monsters and Critics a great soundbite of what to expect:

Draw Bitch, according to Snakebite, will go on forever, like Snakebite's rants and John Felix's love for Godzilla.
