Petra Gallerie is expanding and announces "The Salon" opening Saturday April 30, and the second installment of Draw Bitch 2! The event continues through May 1, at the Gallerie location on 1151 South Robertson, Los Angeles CA 90035

Art, fashion and commerce come together in a hip community setting that inspires anyone to pry away from their handheld devices, lap-tops and routine and pick up a charcoal or paint brush and Draw Bitch! - Petra Gallerie's call to action for all to check out a fun, friendly scene in the SoRo.

Petra Gallerie is more than an art gallery. The studio is a hang for local artists and anyone starved for some real human creative interaction and a chance to meet like-minded people who appreciate art in motion. Petra Gallerie owner John Felix and art director Snakebite Cortez have created a space for higher art education and even more gallery space. Petra Gallerie also features stunning accessories and handmade jewelry for men and women by D.J. Bortoli.

Felix and Cortez describe the next event of Draw Bitch 2! as an "exploration of live art and artists, as DJ Azmyth sets the mood."

People are invited to watch artists draw and create, and join in and get with the Petra vibe, inspired to focus one's intent on the love of art, design and the spirit of creating. The Gallerie builds alliances with local talent and entrepreneurs, and its goals range from celebrating life to conceptualizing self-sustaining communities using art as the foundation.
