Kevin Spacey Announces Plans For The Old Vic Theatre

Kevin Spacey, the Artistic Director of the Old Vic Theatre, announced four new shows to play this year. Although there are no Shakespheare works included, Spacey says "there are some remarkable Shakespearean parts I want to tackle, but we felt our primary goal was to create an exciting season of work."
The four shows are:
Cloaca By Maria Goos (Sep 16-Dec 11, 2004)
Spacey describes it as "a writer at the peak of her game who is completely unknown outside of her native Holland.
Directed by Spacey and starring Neil Pearson, Stephen Tompkinson, Hugh Bonneville, and Ingeborga Dapkunaite.
Aladdin (Dec 17, 2004-Jan 22, 2005)
A pantomime directed by Sean Mathias and starring Ian Mckellan as Widow Twanky
National Anthems By Dennis McIntyre (Feb 1-Apr 23, 2005)
Directed by David Grindley and starring Kevin Spacey
The Philadelphia Story A Comedy by Philip Barry (May 3-July 23, 2005)
