Actress Sienna Miller will make her Broadway debut in a Roundabout Theater Company staging of Patrick Marber's "After Miss Julie," opening this fall in New York.
Variety reports that the production will be directed by Mark Brokaw, who is also slated to direct Roundabout's upcoming Off Broadway production of Lisa Loomer's "Distracted,"
Marber's play updates August Strindberg's 19th century drama "Miss Julie" to a country house setting in England in 1945.
Miller will play Julie, with the rest of the three-person cast to be announced. Previous stage credits for the actress ("Factory Girl," "Stardust") include the 2005 West End production of "As You Like It."
Miller has been seen in films such as "Layer Cake" with Daniel Craig, and "Factory Girl," the story of Edie Sedgwick. Her film "Hippie Hippie Shake" will be released in 2009, and is the recounting of Richard Neville's 1960's London life.
Miller's recently completed film "G.I. Joe" had director Stephen Sommers denying Sienna had enhanced her bustline for the forthcoming action movie.
A news story quotes the British actress saying she was wearing "a tight black leather outfit. And much bigger boobs.... They gave me these things that looked like chicken fillets. The director said, 'I'm gonna be honest, I like girls with big boobs,' and I don't have them so we made them bigger.... At least he's honest. But I was mildly offended."
Sommers told EW magazine the story is untrue. "Everybody here laughed because they know I would NEVER say that to an actress," says the filmmaker. "I guess the costume department gave her a tight fitting bra, but no one gave her rubber breasts or whatever. It is 100 percent Sienna Miller."

think the Roundabout Theatre Company is trying to capitalize on Miller's
fornicating skills for the production of After Miss Julie. She's a very untalented actress. What were they thinking? Although a w**** playing the part of a w**** should be relatively easy for Miller.

Hm, seems Miller can't keep her stories straight. I was psyched for the GI Joe movie, too bad it sounds lame. Broadway? I'm still laughing.
