War Horse closes today

London: The National Theatre production of War Horse plays its final performance today at the Olivier Theatre. This will not be the end of the production as it is set to return to the Olivier in November.
Starring in the play, which is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, is Jamie Ballard, Finn Caldwell, Gareth Kennerley, Luke Treadaway, Alice Barclay, Jason Barnett, Paul Chequer, Thomas Goodridge, Thusitha Jayasundera, Toby Olie, Toby Sedgwick, Ashley Taylor-Rhys, and Alan Williams.
Morpurgo's novel has been adapted By Nick Stafford and features direction by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris. The creative team includes puppets By Adrian Kohler, design by Rae Smith, lighting design by Paule Constable, direction of Movement by Toby Sedgwick, sound design by Christopher Shutt, and video design Leo Warner and Mark Grimmer.
