Speed-The-Plow opens today

London: David Mamet's Speed-The-Plow opens today at the Old Vic Theatre. Starring in the play is Kevin Spacey, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Michelle Kelly.

The creative team includes direction by Matthew Warchus, design by Rob Howell, and lighting design by Paul Pyant.The production is set to run through April 26th.In Speed-The-Plow, Hollywood producers Bobby Gould and Charlie Fox engage in a verbal boxing match centered around the eternal debate of art versus money. Should Gould put on another bad blockbuster that will make his fortune, or put himself on the line for an adaptation of a spiritual, apocalyptic novel offered to him by his beautiful secretary?
