London: The West End production of Macbeth plays its final performance today at the Gielgud Theatre. This particular production of the Shakespeare play premiered earlier this year at the Chichester Festival.
Leading the play is Patrick Stewart in the title role. Starring alongside him is Paul Shelley, Kate Fleetwood, Martin Turner, Michael Feast, Scott Handy, Ben Carpenter, Mark Rawlings, Tim Treloar, Bill Nash, Christopher Knott, Hywel John, and Suzanne Burden.
The creative team includes design by Anthony Ward, lighting design by Howard Harrison, music and sound design by Adam Cork, and video design and projection design by Lorna Heavey. Rupert Goold directs.
