New York : Young Frankenstein , the newest musical from Mel Brooks, opens today at the Hilton Theater. The cast of the musical includes Roger Bart as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, Megan Mullally as Elizabeth, Sutton Foster as Inga, Shuler Hensley as The Monster, Fred Applegate as Kemp, Christopher Fitzgerald as Igor, and Andrea Martin as Frau Blucher.

When Frederick Frankenstein, an esteemed New York brain surgeon and professor inherits a castle and laboratory in Transylvania from his grandfather, deranged genius Victor Von Frankenstein, he faces a dilemma.
