The play premiered at the Royal Court Theater in the summer of 2006 before transferring to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre where it ran through February 2007. The stars of the London production, Brian Cox, Sinead Cusack, and Rufus Sewell, are reprising their roles in this Broadway run. Trevor Nunn will also reprise his directing duties. The rest of the cast includes Alice Eve, Brian Avers, Stephen Kunken, and Alexandra Neil.
The creative team features design by Rob Jones, lighting design by Howard Harrison, costume design by Emma Ryott, and sound design by Ian Dickinson.
