New Lady of the Lake for London and Broadway's Spamalot

Marin Mazzie and Hannah Waddingham, current stars of the Broadway and London productions of Monty Python's Spamalot, are set to swap roles. Mazzie will begin performances as the Lady of the Lake at London's Palace Theatre on January 13, 2008, the same day Waddingham begins performances in the role at Broadway's Shubert Theater.
Broadway's Spamalot currently stars Rick Holmes as Lancelot, Jonathan Hadary as King Arthur, Michael McGrath as Patsy, Martin Moran as Sir Robin, Jeffrey Kuhn as Sir Bedevere, Marin Mazzie as The Lady of the Lake, Lewis Cleale as Sir Dennis Galahad, and Tom Deckman as Prince Herbert.
The London cast includes Peter Davison as King Arthur, Hannah Waddingham as The Lady of the Lake, Andrew Spillet as Patsy, Bill Ward as Sir Lancelot, Robert Hands as Robin, Graham McDuff as Sir Dennis Galahad, and Tony Timberlake as Sir Bedevere.
In Spamalot, the legendary tale of King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table and the quest for the Holy Grail are told through a chorus line of legless knights, men in tights (with killer legs), killer rabbits, and sexy dancing divas. The musical won 2005 Tony awards for director Nichols, actress Sara Ramirez, and for Best Musical.
