Sean Mahon joins The Seafarer

It’s Christmas Eve and Sharky has returned to Dublin to look after his irascible, aging brother. Old drinking buddies Ivan and Nicky are holed up at the house too, hoping to play some cards. New York: Sean Mahon has replaced Richie Coster as Nicky Giblin in the cast of the upcoming Broadway production of The Seafarer. Coster has withdrawn due to scheduling conflicts. Due to the casting change previews have been delayed by one day and will now begin on October 31st.
The Seafarer will open at the Booth Theater on November 15th. Set to star is Conleth Hill, Jim Norton, Ciaran Hinds, David Morse, and Sean Mahon.
The creative team for the Conor McPherson play includes set and costume design by Rae Smith, lighting design by Neil Austin, and sound design by Mathew Smethurst-Evans.
