London : The U.K. production of Chicago will celebrate its 10th anniversary on December 5, 2007. The special performance will take place at the Cambridge Theatre at 6:30 p.m. and will benefit Breast Cancer Haven and the Breast Health Institute. Stars who have appeared in the musical over the past ten years will participate in the event. They include Ute Lemper, Ruthie Henshall, Henry Goodman, Brenda Edwards, Jennifer Ellison, Duncan James, Kelly Osbourne, Frances Ruffelle, Denise Van Outen plus more to be announced. Chicago opened in the West End at the Adelphi Theatre on 18 November, 1997 where it went on to win the 1998 Olivier Award for Outstanding Musical Production. It transferred from the Adelphi Theatre to the Cambridge Theatre in April of last year.
Chicago currently stars Josefina Gabrielle as Roxie Hart, Annette McLaughlin as Velma Kelly, Duncan James as Billy Flynn, Clive Rowe as Amos Hart, and T. Solomon as Mary Sunshine.
