All About My Mother opens today

London: The stage version of Pedro Almodovar's 1999 film, All About My Mother, makes it world premiere today as it opens at the Old Vic. Starring in the play is Diana Rigg as Huma Rojo, Lesley Manville as Manuela, Colin Morgan as Esteban, Joanne Froggatt as Sister Rosa, Charlotte Randle as Nina, Mark Gatiss as Agrado, as well as Eleanor Bron, Bradley Freegard, Robert Galas, Lucy-Anne Holmes, Eileen Nicholas, Yvonne O’Grady, and Michael Shaeffer.
Directed by Tom Cairns, the play has been adapted for the stage by Samuel Adamson. The creative team features design by Hildegard Bechtler, lighting design by Bruno Poet, sound design by Christopher Shutt, a score by Alberto Iglesias, and music by Ben and Max Ringham.
