Chichester's Macbeth transfers to the West End

London: The Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Macbeth is set to transfer to the West End this fall. The Shakespeare play will begin previews at the Gielgud Theatre on September 24th for a ten week run through December 1st.
Directed by Rupert Goold, the play stars Patrick Stewart in the title role as well as Paul Shelley, Kate Fleetwood, Martin Turner, and Michael Feast.
The rest of the company includes Scott Handy as Malcolm, Ben Carpenter as Donaldbain, Mark Rawlings as Lennox, Tim Treloar as Ross, Bill Nash as Angus, Christopher Knott as Old Setward, Hywel John as Bloddy Captain, and Suzanne Burden as Lady Macduff.
The creative team includes design by Anthony Ward, lighting design by Howard Harrison, music and sound design by Adam Cork, and video design and projection design by Lorna Heavey.
