London : Rhea Perlman, known to television audiences as Carla on Cheers , will make her West End debut when she joins the cast of Boeing-Boeing on June 25th. She will replace Patricia Hodge as Bertha.

Perlman was nominated for ten Emmy Awards for her work on Cheers and won four.
She will join a cast that includes Adrian Dunbar as Bernard, Neil Stuke as Robert, Amy Nuttall as Gloria, Doon Mackichan as Gretchen, and Elena Roger as Gabrielle.
The production, written by Marc Camoletti, has been adapted and translated by Beverley Cross, and is directed by Matthew Warchus. The creative team includes scenic design by Rob Howell.
In the play, Bernard is an English playboy in Paris who is able to juggle his three air-hostess girlfriends because of their different schedules and with the help of his long-suffering housekeeper, Bertha. The arrival of the new double-speed Super Boeing changes everything.
