More casting announced for In Celebration

By Amy Somensky May 30, 2007, 2:38 GMT

London: More casting has been announced for the upcoming London production of David Storey's In Celebration. Joining Orlando Bloom as Steven in the play will be Lynda Baron as Mrs. Burnett, Gareth Farr as Colin, Paul Hilton as Andrew, and Ciaran McIntyre as Reardon.

In Celebration will begin previews at the Duke of York's Theatre on July 5th and officially open on the 12th. The play is currently booking through September 15th.

The creative team includes designs by Lez Brotherston, lighting design by Mark Henderson, music by Stephen Warbeck, and sound design by John Leonard. Anna Mackmin directs.

In the play, three brothers — Andrew, Colin and Steven — return home to the northern roots of their childhood for a family reunion. Although they have returned to celebrate, the explosive complexities of family life and long-held grievances are unlikely to improve the chances of a decent party.
