Taye Diggs and Jane Krakowski to announce 2007 Tony nominations

New York: Taye Diggs and Jane Krakowski are set to announce the nominations for the 2007 Tony Awards. The announcement will come on May 15th at approximately 8:30 AM from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. CBS' The Early Show will air the nominations.
Diggs made his Broadway debut in the 1994 revival of Carousel. He created the role of Benny in Rent and starred as the same role in the film version. His other Broadway credits include Chicago and Wicked. His most recent project is Private Practice, the forthcoming spinoff of TV’s Grey’s Anatomy.
Krakowski’s numerous Broadway credits include the role of Carla in the 2003 production of Nine, for which she won a Tony Award as Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She won an Olivier Award in London for her performance as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. Her television work includes a six-year stint as Elaine on Ally McBeal.
The 61st Annual Tony Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall on June 10th. The three-hour ceremony will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.
