Thanks for spoiling this for me. Haven't watched tonights show. Your urgency to be 'first' should be reexamined.
Why did 'Big ears' get chosen. I don't get him. He has NO talent and is the grossest. I think the other guy should have one. They did however, chose the right sandy.
Nothing more to say.
I was so hoping he would win and he did. She did too!
How wonderful! If they didn't win, I would have felt pretty horrible as I thought they were the Best!
I hope I can see them both in the Real show....!
We have been watching this since the start and both of our favorites were chosen. Good job America!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to Laura and Max. Laura is an incredible talent and will make a fantastic Sandy! America Loves Laura. As for Danny, my first choice was Derek. In the finals, I voted for Max, who will complement Laura and make a very original, interesting Danny. I also want to extend my best to Ashley and Austin for their great performances.

Laura and Max--America has voted the same as myself--YOU ARE THE ONES THAT WE WANT!! G-d bless you both and the cast of Grease on Broadway.
Congratulations to Laura & Max!!! You did an incredible job & you will be awesome on Broadway as well. The rest of the contestants did a great job too & you have lots to be proud of. Thank you all for some great entertainment!
America did get it right. I like Austin, too, but I wanted Max to win.
What a wonderful series. We rooted for Laura and Max from the very beginning and are overwhelmed that America agreed with us. Grease is sure to be a tremendous success. God bless you all. Gerri E.
Max was the most talented, although not the typical 'Danny' look, just watching him perform showed his ability as a dancer, singer, actor, that all surpassed his non-typical Danny look. Way to go Max!!!! Congrats to a home town boy who is now doing it big. You deserve it.
i love Laura and Max.they make a good sandy and dany.i think Max is super hot to.there is no hotter guy.
You have got to be kidding!!!!
The very first episode of the Grease Academy, I leaned over to my wife and told her that she is looking at the next danny, MAX!!! I picked him from the very start, what an eye! Austin was actually at the very bottom of my list. The soap-opera look is just not for me! Max was sly and cool from the start.
If austin would have won, I think it would have not made as much money on broadway. I hope that once they have made their money on broadway that they will make a movie around the broadway version of it so that all those who supported them, but can't afford to travel to broadway will get to have the experience of Max & Laura!!!!
If austin would have won, I would have no continued interest in the new Grease!!!!! Thanks Max and Laura, for all your hard work and for winning!
America got it right! Max and Laura will shine on Broadway. Way to go...Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are thrilled that Max and Laura won this competition. We were pulling for them from the very beginning, and have already started our plans for the big trip to NY to see them on stage. They will be awesome! I think Max is just far enough left of center to really pull off the role of Danny. If you remember, the 'original' Danny, John T., hammed it up also with the track team and malt shoppe scenes. A perfect fit!
Grease: You're the One That I Want Winner MAX CRUMM stars in this
independent film by Dark Park Productions.
An official selection for the Westwood International Film Festival and
the Seattle True Independence Film Festival, Echoboom is an
existential romp through private school life in the digital age. The
last six months of college (starting with the 2004 Election Night) are
played out through the prisms of young Democrats and Republicans,
unrequited love, apathy, ignorance, the internet, and general
debauchery. Our hero, Jonah, battles his baby-boomer parents' wishes
for him to become a lawyer as he tries to buy time to find some
meaning, if only he could stay sober. Ultimately, Echoboom is a film
about the next generation flooding the workforce, the heavy achievers
destined to move back home with their parents. It takes friends to
figure out life isn't a journey, it's a destination.
Contains profanity and some drug use. Not rated by the MPAA 90mins

The show was so much fun to watch. My heart goes out to all the performers. I am sure they will all be on Broadway someday. That said, I am so happy Max won! He was my family's choice from the very beginning, and watching him perform week after week getting better and better was a real gift. We voted every week.
Max will be a great Danny, especially with Laura by his side. Can't wait to see them on Broadway!!

I know it's been a few weeks, but I just found this site. Max and Laura will be great! I remember watching the first episodes of YTOTIW, and hoping and praying Max would be picked for the final 12. Then when he was chosen, I got to vote for him. How great is that. Watching him grow into Danny each week on the show and then seeing him win was wonderful. Our family will be there this summer cheering Max and Laura on. It couldn't happen to two sweeter and talented kids.
America did pick the right ones. Max and Laura were the best by far. CONGRATULATIONS MAX & LAURA....Can't wait to see you in NYC on 7/28/07.
