This is LondonThe entire cast of the revival at the Chocolate Factory, which includes Sheridan Smith as Audrey, Paul Keating as Seymour, Barry James as Mr. Mushnik, and Mike McShane as Audrey II, have moved with the production to the West End. Alistair McGowan is new to musical. He stars as Orin Scrivello.The musical, based on Roger Corman's 1960 film features music and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. The creative team features design by David Farley and direction by Matthew White.Little Shop of Horrors concerns down and out Skid Row floral assistant Seymour who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore offering him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite… but as Audrey II’s hungry demands increase, all that Seymour holds dear is threatened as the plant’s sinister agenda for global domination is revealed.For Little Shop of Horrors tickets visit our database here.
