Journey's End opens today

Based on R.C. Sheriff\'s own experiences in the Great War, Journey\'s End is set in a trench in St. Quentin, France, as a group of British officers await their day of reckoning. The young Captain Stanhope tries to galvanize his men as they prepare to raid the enemy across No Man\'s Land. Meanwhile, his company is joined by his old schoolfriend Raleigh, who finds his one-time hero much changed. ...more
New York: The revival production of R.C. Sherriff's WWI drama, Journey's End, opens today at the Belasco Theater.
The cast of the production includes Boyd Gaines as Osborne, Jefferson Mays as Mason, Hugh Dancy as Stanhope, Stark Sands as Raleigh, Richard Poe as Colonel, Justin Blanchard as Hibbert, John Ahlin as Trotter, Kieran Campion as German Soldier, John Curless as Capt. Hardy/Sgt. Major, John Behlmann as Bert, and Nick Berg as Barnes Broughton.
The creative team includes scenic and costume design by Jonathan Fensom, lighting design by Jason Taylor, and sound design by Gregory Clarke. David Grindley directs.
