West End production of Grease to cast stars through reality show

London: The new trend in theater casting just got another contender. David Ian and Simon Cowell have joined forces to cast a West End production of Grease through a reality show that will air on ITV1. Ian is behind the American version of the televison show titled You're The One That I Want.
The West End production of Grease will open in the summer of 2007. Auditions for the roles of Sandy and Danny are expected to be held in the spring.
