A Moon for the Misbegotten closes today

Josie, a towering woman with a quick tongue and a ruined reputation lives in a dilapidated Connecticut farmhouse with her conniving father, Phil Hogan. Together they\'re a formidable force as they scrape together a livelihood. But Josie\'s softer side is exposed through her love of Jim Tyrone, Hogan\'s landlord and drinking buddy - a third-rate actor whose dreams of stardom were washed away by alcohol. ...more
London: The Old Vic production of A Moon for the Misbegotten plays its final performance today. Starring in the play is Kevin Spacey, Eve Best, Colm Meaney, Billy Carter, and Eugene O'Hare.
The creative team includes design by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Paule Constable, music by Dominic Muldowney, and sound design by Christopher Shutt. Howard Davies directs.
After it finishes its run, the entire production will move to Broadway. The Associated Press has reported that the production will begin previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theater on March 29, 2007 and offically open on April 9th. All three stars from the London production, Kevin Spacey, Eve Best, and Colm Meaney will star in the Broadway run, and Howard Davies will direct.
